This Refund & Cancellation Policy ("Policy") applies to all purchases made on avitamo.in ("Website"), owned and operated by AVITAMO SOLUTIONS PRIVATE LIMITED ("Company", "we", "us", "our"). By placing an order, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Order Cancellation
1.1 Cancellation by Customer
You may request cancellation of your order under the following conditions:
- Before dispatch: Orders can be cancelled before they are dispatched by contacting us at info@avitamo.in with your order number. Cancellation requests received before dispatch will be processed promptly.
- After dispatch: Once an order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled. You may, however, refuse to accept the delivery, after which the item will be returned to us and a refund will be processed as per this Policy (applicable for prepaid orders only).
1.2 Cancellation by Avitamo
We reserve the right to cancel an order for any of the following reasons:
- Product is out of stock or discontinued after order placement
- Pricing or product description errors on the Website
- Suspected fraudulent or duplicate orders
- Inability to deliver to the specified PIN code or address
- Non-receipt of payment for prepaid (UPI) orders
In such cases, you will be notified via email. If payment has already been collected, a full refund will be processed.
2. Refund Eligibility
You are eligible for a refund in the following situations:
- The product received is damaged, defective, or materially different from what was ordered
- The order was cancelled before dispatch (prepaid orders)
- The delivery failed and the product was returned to our warehouse (prepaid orders)
- The order was cancelled by Avitamo for operational reasons (prepaid orders)
3. Refund Process
To initiate a refund for a damaged or incorrect product:
- Contact us within 48 hours of delivery at info@avitamo.in
- Include your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photographs of the product and packaging
- Our team will review your request and respond within 2 business days
- If approved, the refund will be processed within the timelines specified below

5. Cash on Delivery (COD) Orders
For COD orders, since no advance payment is collected:
- If cancelled before dispatch: No charges apply.
- If the delivery is refused or undeliverable: The order is returned to our warehouse at no cost to you.
- If a product is received damaged or defective: We will arrange for a replacement (subject to availability) or cancel the order entirely.
6. Replacements
In cases where a product is received damaged or defective, we may offer a replacement instead of a refund, subject to product availability. If the product is no longer available, a full refund will be processed. Replacement eligibility is determined after reviewing the evidence (photographs) provided by you.
7. Partial Refunds
Partial refunds may be issued in the following cases:
- Multi-item orders where only some items are affected
- Products that have been used, washed, or altered but were genuinely defective
The amount of partial refund will be communicated to you before processing, and will require your acknowledgement.

If you are not satisfied with our resolution, you may escalate your complaint to the Grievance Officer listed above in accordance with the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.
9. Governing Law
This Policy is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under this Policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
